Mother's Day Hugs Gift Wrap

Give Mom a Hug. Whether you will hug Mom in person or wish you could send her a hug through the mail. Wrap Mom's gift with this Mother's Day Hugs Gift Wrap and she'll then have one or two or more! Wrap with Mother's Day Hugs Gift Wrap!

Our packages were shipped off earlier this week but, today, as I was preparing our house for the weekend, I realised that this could be something for you, too! Send Mom a hug.

How to wrap your Mother's Day gift with a hug, too?
Let's make this:

Craft paper, pink paint (gauche, tempera or hobby paint), paint brush, black pen, double-sided tape, and pink card stock.

Start by painting your craft paper.
- Using one color, paint hearts onto the craft paper.
- Let dry.
- Once the paper is dry, wrap your gift and embellish:
- Cut 2 arms from the pink card stock.
- Tape the bases of these arms onto the package.
- Add facial details and a message.

I hope that you have fun wrapping and giving hugs away, too! Happy Making and willowday wishes!

This wrapping paper is a story in it's self because it's part of a family making session with everyone in the family working on one piece together.  I just prepped the work area with craft paper, pink paint + brushes: said go and we all painted sheets of heart gift wrap. I love having it on hand. In fact, one sheet turned out so beautifully, we used it as a wall decoration.
