Simple Chalkboard Turkey Handprints Tags

As long as we have a hand that still fits on a standard card, let there be handprint art. Today's cards are hassle-free, simple making with lots of room to personalise. These can be enjoyed all month long and then, saved for next year. These can be used as Thanks Tags on a Thanksgiving Tree, decorations or gift cards.

I suspect if you've celebrated Thanksgiving, then you've made a Turkey Handprint Cards in your life time or with your kids.  Last year, I brought Chalkboard Paper back from the ÚS which gave me an idea to make something just a little different: Chalkboard Handprint Turkey Cards that we could use on our branches to make a Thanksgiving Tree. Getting these one year later,  as been a lot of fun. All we had to do was erase + draw.  It was also fun to see that there's not one hand in the house that's still this size; making these treasures for me, too.

I'm wondering if you really need instructions, but, just in case, it gives me a chance to re-run the fun.
Let's get started:
Materials:- Chalkboard Cardboard Paper Stock* (like this) black and red
- One hand
- Pencil for tracing
- Glue or double sided sticky tape
- Scissors
- Hole Punch
- Ribbon
- Chalk
- Optional: use feathers to decorate the tails. We've done this and the color contrast is beautiful.

Make:- Place hand on the chalkboard paper.
- Trace with pencil.
- Neatly cut out the hand
- Cut and add beak and comb.
- Cut along the tracing line.
- Punch a hole in the top of the hand.
- String ribbon through and tie.
- Cards are ready to be turned into Thanksgiving Turkeys.

Happy Making.  I hope you're having a wonderful month. As always, I love to see what you do and look forward to meeting here again soon.

Willowday Wishes.

* Note: The chalkboard card stock I was able to use was in several chalk board colors. If this isn't available, I know that chalkboard paint is and you could paint black card stock to make your own.
