DIY Vegetable Jenga

Happy Weekend!

Vegetables can be so much more fun than you ever imagined! This is an amazing, super fun, all-in-1, snack and game that I wish I had imagined up earlier! Grab your carrots and radishes and let’s play Vegetable Jenga! How high can you go?  Just continue below with me and I'll share how!

I'm sharing this full DIY Veggie Jenga post with the wonderful Handmade Charlotte today.  Click here to continue on to the full tutorial. I'm back here, as usual, again next week and can't wait to meet you.

Jenga makes me think of a wonderful summer that included large and small Jenga games. Maybe the seeds for this idea were planted this summer in Malibu (here) when we were with dear friends playing over-sized Jenga, outdoors.

Now, back in Sweden, as we're transitioning from a free-wheeling summer of vacation menus and returning to our regular, greener, and more routined school year kitchen, I've thought about the fact that summer just brings a whole lot of "yes" to everything. I think that's OK, too; but, now, thinking hard about how I could amp up our everyday healthy eating without having to say those words, this idea was born.  Vegetable Jenga delivers fun and lots and lots of veggies.  I can't wait for you to try, too. It should come with a word of warning: make extra veggies bricks or you'll find that your kids have "eaten up the game!" (For full how-to: Click here)
