Make Paper Dresses

Hi friends. I hope you've been great!

Yes, I've been experiencing a little mayhem around here but, this morning ran across mayhem of another kind --- a 4 year old girl whose mother refers to her as "Mayhem" who makes paper dress, after paper dress, after paper dress! They're unbelievable.

For more, about Mayhem and to see more of her paper creations ... click below.
Mayhem's mother, Angie, started posting all of the typical posts you see in Instagram: breakfasts, playing in the park, etc, up until somewhere in the past year when Angie's daughter "Mayhem" started to show that she was more interested in fashion than the average 4-year-old.

Mayhem wasn't satisfied with her store-bought princess dresses and began to wrap herself with scarves and sheets creating her own styles. One day Angie got tired of finding her own clothes in Mayhem's toy box and suggested they make a dress out of paper. Mayhem loved the idea and they haven't stopped creating paper dresses since. Click here to see the full instagram feed. There were so many fanciful, funny and outright beautiful creations! I see that even Vogue has found them and that Mayhem's mother is also cleverly using the creativity for good, too. Just click, here, (fashionbymayhem) to read more.

I know that we've had a few paper dresses created in our house and that I usually only share my own photos, but, was really so excited by this collection that I felt sometimes rules are meant to be broken.  Projects like this are my favourites: creativity, paper, scissors and tape. I hope you see this and feel the same: it's time to get ready, get set, go!  I'd love to see what you do or have done!
