Big + Small DIY: Sturdy Household Containers


Hi!  I'm so happy to share a new project for you in the Big and Small series I'm do at Designmom, today! 

In our home, it feels like we are always in need of storage containers to organize our stuff and I thought it would be fun to make them ourselves!     1. Oh, so nice to hear from you! I confess I brought back gold duct tape back from the US when I visited this past Summer. It's sold at ordinary Hardware stores there; but, I've googled and found some it in Europe at Amazon UK and a few other smaller sites in the UK. With some luck, it might be closer to home. Good Luck!

      I have made other containers in our house using the classic silver duct tape and I love this effect, too. Since the classic, dull finished duct tape and the metal version are readily available in Europe, I just want to mention these --- they give a cool "industrial" edge.. Good Luck!

    1. Hi Sian! Yeah! Wonderful news! You won't believe how happy this makes me! I like to share projects that people can truly make with items "on hand" ... but couldn't resist all of the amazing duct tape in the US this Summer. Have fun making these and thanks for stopping by.
