Good Morning, April

Good Morning, April. You are Spring's morning and I think Peonies are your messenger. I was so happy to find my first peonies this weekend at the market. They set the perfect room for Easter entertaining and are making my day, right now, too.
Did you have a nice weekend? Did you do any April Fools Jokes? Are you on Spring Break? Most Swedish schools are off this week. Our school won't have it's Spring Break until the end of the month so our house is moving along at it's regular tempo and the kids are back in school today. I have a lot to accomplish over the next two weeks! Do you recognize this feeling?

Would you believe it, we still have snow; however, the light has changed and can now believe that Spring will come. At several points this weekend, we looked completely native, finding a spot in the sun to soak up the first rays of sun while sipping coffee. If you live here or if you've visited Sweden in the Spring or Summer, you know exactly what I mean, don't you?
Although I grew up in the northern US, Scandinavians welcome the Spring sun with a vigor beyond what I knew. Now, as the sun is coming out, Swedes become like sunflowers facing the sun at any and all opportunities. I've lived here long enough to join in! I'm out of the door now but, wishing you a wonderful week! So much to be happy about and so much to share this week! I can't wait to meet you back here tomorrow.  Until then, Happy April Wishes!

  4. If it makes you feel better it has been exceptionally cold here in France where we spent Easter skiing. Love all of the seasons in Sweden, but agree how winter seems to never end there...but then suddenly it is summer!

  5. We live in northern United States where we also still have snow ------------- but it is melting. Yesterdey I went out our front door to find wonderful crocus flowers blooming. Also our tulips are coming up. Spring is coming gently this year. We will not have peonies until June, but these photos are beautiful!

  6. Hello Gina! I can see that spring is finally coming to your side pretty soon (beautiful peony, by the way). As for us here, with the dry season approaching, we'll have less rain from now on :D

I don't know how many followers you have on facebook (I can't seem to be able to access the page) but as I love all your creative crafts (and printables, of course!) I'm more than happy to nominate you for Liebster Blog Award (it's an award for bloggers with less than 200 followers). You can check it out here:

    1. What a great way to start the day! Wow! Thank you. I'm so sorry to hear about this with Facebook... on top of my Spring List is to find some technical support! It's ALWAYS a pleasure to come by your blog and see what you're doing and this gesture from you is all the more meaningful due to that. I'll come take a look and had a few questions that I hope I'll be able to just email. I'll be in touch soon.
