The idea behind the "Big/Small" series is to create "side-by-side" projects with a "Big"project for adults and a "Small" simplified kid's version, of the same project, for your little ones!

Ice Lanterns. These are great big and small projects. If the kids let some freeze over too long, they're still great as ice sculptures combined with lit ice lanterns!
Fruit Roll Ups: These are a great project to make together too -- whether it's gathering the berries as a team or helping you cut these out once their finished. These are a household hit.
Paper Lanterns with LED tea lights: Anyone and everyone can make these.
