These flowers are in my view, this morning. I've heard an expert say that one's life expectancy is lengthened by keeping fresh, cut, flowers in the house. Technically, true or false, today, I know that they are keeping November's gray gowns at bay and memories of weekend festivities, inside!  I hope a beautiful weekend is coloring your Monday, too!

Our minds are beginning to move to the month ahead and I'll have some fun things for you this week.  I haven't, yet, begun playing holiday music or watching Christmas movies; have you? In Sweden, the "first of advent" will kick off the season, with precision, this coming Sunday. Windows will be filled with paper stars and candles; invitations for "Glögg and pepperkakor*" parties have been received but, trees will not be decorated until we are closer to Christmas. What's happening near you? I love to hear from you and look forward to seeing you back here this week.
