Pocket Fold Napkins

This simple pocket napkin fold quickly adds festivity to a table. We've tucked homemade cookies and flowers into ours today. Simple instructions below.

Left: Double a napkin lengthwise, then fold up a pocket of approximately 2 inches.
Center: Fold this napkin with pocket in half.
Right: Fold the napkin in half again and place the open sides of the napkin down
so that the face is smooth, pocket side up.
Tuck something special into the fold and you are ready for celebrations.

  1. I use to do fun things with napkins when we had people over and for some reason I don't anymore. I like the simplicity of this, not trying to hard but still adding a personal touch. Even if you just tuck the cutlery inside :)

  2. I hope this simple twist comes in handy!

I realized that I didn't provide a link, above, for a pocket gift wrap technique that I love to use, too. It's the perfect way to add a easy embellishment! Enjoy.
