Provence

Happy Friday! Barcelona center was so uncomplicated and the fun city was so much fun to discover together. Now, after an easy drive north to Provence, we count our lucky stars this morning that we arrived on time for the local market day. After carefully choosing our vegetables, fruits, cheese and olives for the weekend there, passing the treats booths proved too difficult. This is what our afternoon snack or "gôuter" looked like! This is exactly why I bring my running shoes for a good hilly run! As they say here, "Bon weekend!"
Remaining delicacies, above, are:
 Spanish cookies in vanilla and cinnamon, a macaroon,
a piece of regional Semolina flour cake and several middle eastern honey and nut pastries.
