I "HEART" DOWNTON ABBEY

Are you sharing my Downton Abbey withdrawal?  The next season can't get here fast enough for me. I am afraid that the original post I planned for today, will have to wait. This morning has been nothing but spinning wheels over technical problems and household repairs. When will you, Mr. Dryer Repair Man, arrive?
Isn't just the thought of Downton Abbey, a welcome distraction? I found this fun article about the crew off-screen. I hope you will enjoy this too:

  1. Love Downtown Abby. We jut finished a dvd marathon getting caught up on season 2 and the Christmas special. Being an American/Brit couple we love quoting lines to each other. "If you're going to go American, I'm going downstairs." Thanks for sharing!!

    1. Thank you for sharing and visiting. I love your connection! Yes, I have to admit that the American character thrown in amongst the English Roses was a clever element!

  5. Just finished Downton Season 2's Christmas Special and am totally in withdrawal.... Loved the pictures of them off-duty! Oh, the brilliance of make-up, costume and perfect casting. We'll have to get our period fix by watching Julian Fellowes' "Titanic." Currently showing on ITV in the UK, but don't know when it will come to Sweden. However, it will be available on amazon.co.uk on April 16th.

  6. I'm in withdrawal, too! It was so fun to scroll the "real life" photos. I think my favorite is Mr. Bates with a baby. So sweet! (Found you via Design Mom.)
