Happy Monday and welcome back.  We are counting down to both Valentine's Day and the arrival of a very special visitor, tomorrow -- making this a fantastic Monday. Stockholm is an absolute Winter Wonderland and we enjoyed the chance to get out in the snow this weekend. Sun or snow -- I hope that you, too, have had a wonderful weekend and that your week is off to a great start.
24 hours 'til Valentine's Day. Today, I wanted to share these two, sweet ideas with you, if you're in need of a last minute Valentine. I was charmed by them both.

1) Ooh la la: French bonbon's wrapped in French newsprint! So chic! Frolic
(I love the use of honest to goodness, French "bon bon!")
I am inspired by these from FROLIC  and wouldn't it be fun to wrap birthday-give-away-treats, in comic book pages for a "Super Hero Birthday, like this...Fun!

2) Funny Bone Valentine's: These make me think in "knock-knock jokes," which are very popular in our house. Find the how-to at:  blessthismessplease, here for how-to.

"I hope that your Valentine Ice Art worked out beautifully, too!" If you don't know Gabrielle, already, at designmomgo!  And, if you have a little extra time, make these designmom's "3D lollipop Valentines." They are too cute for words. We made them last year and they are the only Valentine I ever want to make again. Instructions found here: 3D Valentines.

  1. I have a 5 year-old and so I still have to sit through that knock-knock joke for endless amounts of time. I think those French bon-bon packets are adorable! Thanks for sharing.

    1. Thank you and Enjoy! Yes, the knock knock aspect of that one hit me and felt perfect for several Valentine's in my life, too! Happy Valentine's Day

  2. Thanks for featuring the orange Valentine! I put a text link up on my blog under the "featured" category, but a "button" would be so cute! Do you have an image that I could link to you? It's such a cute blog and worth sharing!

    1. Melissa - wonderful. Let me see what I can do! (... I am still new to the technical side of this) I'll email you. Gina

  3. hi! i came across your blog through design mom. love your ice heart, it inspired me to try my own (but much smaller and not quite as pretty :) )

Thank you!
